Collection of insects hunted and preserved by André Breton in the Grésigne forest in the Tarn.
"Did I tell you that we went by car to the Grésigne forest, some 80 km from here, driven by an architect who is an entomologist in his spare time, to look for beetles under the moss on the embankments. I brought back some very beautiful ones, in particular the chrysocarabus hispanus and the chrysocarabus splendens (I can't help it, they don't have any other name, but they are splendours, the first with a blue corselet and flaming gooseberry elytra, the second all smooth and ruddy)."Letter from André Breton to his daughter Aube, 3 September 1952.
