Rs. eingravierte kyrillische Geschenk-Inschrift "Dem Oberstleutnant Leonid Alexandrovich Dobrovolsky, in das Regiment eingetreten 16 Februar 1905 und ausgetreten 22 Mai 1916". Maße 38 x 28 mm. Gewicht 16 g. Knopf auf oberem Schulterstück fehlt. Sehr gute Qualität. In originalem Etui, innen mit Herstellerstempel "1 Juwelier Artel Kiev".
Das 10. Infanterieregiment war in Schmerinka bei Kiev (Ukraine) stationiert. Oberstleutnant Leonid Alexandrovich Dobrovolsky (1879 - ?) nahm an den Kämpfen bei Mukden teil, übernahm mit Kontusion das Kommando über den Rest des Regiments mit 108 Mann und zwei Offizieren, kämpfte sich durch die japanischen Reihen, die ihn von allen Seiten umringten, und rettete so die Regimentsfahne. Die Schlacht von Mukden war die größte, längste und blutigste Schlacht des Russisch-Japanischen Krieges.
