Approx. Ø16mm, 18K Gold and platinum, No. 4945, blue Guilloche enamel, round set with diamonds, a lift and a pointer position by Turning the upper half of the housing, fine Miniature movement with anchor gear, perfectly preserved enamel dial with blue numerals and red "12", gold hands, matching brooch made of Gold, studded with sapphires, functional and in almost perfect state of preservation, only the glass is missing. These fine watches were first made about 1865 and by the 1920s was predominantly of the Geneva manufacturers, the most famous of Patek Philippe. The enormous amount of Publicity for this lovely "Boules de Genève" led to a storm of orders from Royal houses from all over the world. Patek Philippe provided, among other things, copies of Prince Hussein Kamil of Egypt (1887), and Empress Teresa of Brazil (1888)
