Ausschnitthaft komponierte, in kraftvollen Pinselstrichen gemalte und expressiv kolorierte Ansicht eines kaminroten Vogelhauses, auf dessen Reetdach ein Taubenpaar turtelt. Leidl studierte 1921-1928 an der Münchner Akademie unter Adolf Hengeler und stellte 1927 erstmals aus. 1932 beteiligte er sich an der Münchener Kunstausstellung und erhielt im selben Jahr den Dürer-Preis der Stadt Nürnberg. Mittels eines Stipendiums unternahm er 1933 eine Studienreise, die ihn nach Florenz und Rom führte. Nach der Kriegszerstörung seines Münchener Ateliers mit einem Großteil seines Oeuvres ging Leidl 1943 nach Tutzing am Starnberger See. Dort schuf er Porträts von Persönlichkeiten wie Theodor Heuss, vor allem aber Landschaften, wofür er Bayern, Norddeutschland, Italien, Österreich und Südamerika bereiste. Öl/Lwd. The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
