Vollplastische Skulptur aus weißem Marmor. Darstellung einer stehenden, unbekleideten Frau mit erhobenen Armen und hochgestecktem Haar. Seitliche Stütze in Form eines Baumstumpfes, auf ovaler Plinthe. Signiert "Tantardini". Der kleine Finger der rechten Hand gebrochen, restauriert. Höhe 180 cm.
Antonio Tantardini (1829-79), in Mailand tätiger Bildhauer. Studierte an der Academia di belle arti in Brera und später auch in Florenz. Er stellte seine Werke auf vielen internationalen Ausstellungen aus.
