L. u. signiert und 1839 datiert. Öl auf Lwd. 60,5 x 77 cm. Doubliert. Rest. Min. besch. Rahmen min. besch. Ausblick auf die das Gestüt Scharnhausen umgebende Landschaft im Osten Stuttgarts mit dem Fluß Körsch. Das Königliche Gestüt bei Scharnhausen wurde 1810 von König Wilhelm I. von Württemberg begründet und die weltberühmte Araberzucht bestand dort bis 1928. Albrecht Adam wurde ab 1829 immer wieder vom König mit Weidebildern, Pferdeporträts und auch Reiterbildnissen beauftragt. Am 17. Juni 1839 reiste Albrecht Adam in Begleitung seines Sohnes Franz nach Stuttgart und erhielt vom König den Auftrag für vorliegendes Gemälde. Vor Ort fertigte er viele Studien, das Gemälde entstand über dem Winter in München und wurde 1840 von Albrecht Adam persönlich an König Wilhelm I. von Württemberg überbracht. Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
