Ca. Ø40mm, Edelstahl, Edelstahl-Krone, Schraubboden mit Ausstellungsnummer "EI 0500", innen Seriennummer "1 433 XXX", Handaufzug, Chronographenkaliber Valjoux 236 mit 17 Steinen, Brücke signiert Breitling 817, Stoßsicherung und Feinregulierung, matt-schwarzes Zifferblatt mit arabischen Leuchtziffern, ebenfalls signiert und nummeriert "Breitling 817", Leuchtzeiger (Leuchtmasse leicht porös), 30min Zähler, beidseitig drehbare schwarze Lünette, Kunststoffglas (mit Gebrauchsspuren), dunkelbraunes Lederband mit Edelstahl-Dornschließe, funktionstüchtig und sehr schön erhalten, selten! Die Breitling 817 wurde 1975 als Werkzeuguhr für Hubschrauberpiloten der italienischen Armee (und in einigen seltenen Fällen für Zugführer des Battaglione Paracadutisti Carabinieri Tuscania) eingeführt. Diese Soldaten wurden an der Fallschirmjägerbrigade-Schule "Folgore" in Livorno in der Toskana zu Fallschirmjägern ausgebildet. Die steilen Berge Sardiniens und Kalabriens waren ihr übliches Einsatzgebiet bei der Jagd nach Entführern, Gangstern und Mitgliedern der berüchtigten Camorra.
