Kräftige, geschwungene, vernickelte Steckrückenklinge mit Schör, am Ansatz geätzt mit Reichsadler und Trophäen und bezeichnet "Eisenhauer". Eisernes, ehemals vernickeltes Bügelgefäß, die Parierlappen graviert, der terzseitige mit einem Geschütz und der Jahreszahl "1895/96", der quartseitige mit dem Namen "Ernst Hartwig", silberdrahtumwickelte Fischhauthilze. Eisenscheide mit Reste der Vernickelung mit einem beweglichen Tragering. Länge 104 cm. Dazu der Faustriemen (Riemen beschädigt).
Säbel eines einjährig Freiwilligen, der sich selbst einkleiden musste und der sich als Erinnerung an seine Dienstzeit auf seiner Blankwaffe verewigt hat.
