First edition of this handsome, large portfolio depicting stars, nebulae, and other celestial objects. A second edition was published in September, 1941 with additional plate 5a.

Folio (425 x 350mm). 4pp of text plus 15 photographs from the original negatives. (Small erased withdrawal stamp on title, pencil numbers on a page of text). Loose as issued in original cloth portfolio, cover gilt-lettered, ribbon ties (mild soiling/wear, two small removed labels).

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
