Half Nude of a young man in a Cutaway
Ganzfiguriges, over-life-sized Nude portrait in a black Cutaway, white shirt and tie, the right Hand as a gesture in the vest, holding a Shoe on a Swan kicking on the floor and on the wall an explanatory Text, in the upper left corner is a pair of doves. Deeper levels of meaning stemming from the contradiction of the act to a formal company suit, complemented by the Text and other symbols. Lukacs is concerned, as a gay artist, in particular, with the representation of masculinity and male sexuality. In 1986, he went to Berlin, where a series of life-sized Skinhead representations was created, in 1992, he showed a pavilion with male Nudes at the Documenta IX in Kassel. From 1996-2001, he was in New York City resident, where he learning described in addition to sports, in particular, the cadets. Öl/Lwd.; 264 cm x 166 cm.
