Fein und detailreich geschnitztes Gefäß auf drei in Form von Monsterfratzen und Klauen gestalteten Füßen, eingesetzter Boden, innen mit Drachengravur, an der Unterseite mit Signatur. Korpus vorder- und rückseitig mit Darstellungen von Drachen zwischen Blütenzweigen. Seitlich angebrachte Henkel in Drachengestalt, jeweils mit einem beweglichen Tragering. Deckel mit Glückssymbolen beschnitzt und seitlich mit zwei Maskarons mit beweglichen Trageringen. Auf der Oberseite ein plastisch geschnitztes Glückslöwenpaar. Höhe 30,5 cm.

An exquisitely carved Chinese lidded vessel made of ivory, 19th century
Finely and detailedly carved vessel on three feet shaped in the form of monster's heads and claws, inserted bottom, inside with dragon engraving, on the underside with signature. Body front and back with depictions of dragons between flower branches. Dragon-shaped handles on the sides, each with a movable carrying ring. Lid carved with symbols of luck and laterally with two mascarons with movable carrying rings. On the upper side a pair of sculpted guardian lions. Height 30.5 cm.
