Christian motifs of the Augsburg Rococo
Some browned, stained, trimmed, minor damage. Some mounted behind passe-partout (46.5 x 33.5 cm).

The mixed lot consists of: Sheet "Anbetung der Hirten", design by Gottfried Bernhard Göz, engraving by Johann David Curiger Augsburg. 5 sheets, illustrations from the Scheuchzer Bible (plates DC, DCLXV, DCXCVI, DCCXLIV, CCCCXXXVI), four sheets engraved by Johann Georg Pintz, one by Georg Daniel Heumann, published between 1731 and 1735 in Augsburg and Ulm. 3 sheets, Bible illustrations (Scheuchzer Bible?), depiction of the Bible passages Exodus 16:4-35, Leviticus 1:2-3, Book of Joshua, 10, 11, trimmed, mounted behind passe-partout. 4 sheets, landscapes with biblical scenes (The Sacrifice of Abraham, Rebekah and Boaz, The Flight into Egypt, The Walk to Emmaus), design and engraving by Johann Adam Stockmann, publisher Johann Georg Hertel, work number 12, sheets 1-4, behind passe-partout. 3 sheets, Saint Mathias, Saint Mattaeus, Saint Thomas, each inscribed "Göz et Klauber Cath. sc. et exc. AV.", numbered 7, 11 and 14 at the top, behind passe-partout. Sheet, Saint Ignatius of Loyola, engraving and publisher Joseph Sebastian Klauber, behind passe-partout.
