Weißporzellan. Auf stilisiertem Natursockel stehender Fuchs mit nach links gewandtem Kopf. Zu den Füßen ein erlegter Hahn. Naturalistisch gestaltete, annährend lebensgroße Ausführung. Entwurf Wilhelm Neuhäuser, um 1921. Entw.-Bez.; Modell-Nr. U 1273. Eingepresste Manufakturmarke. Linkes Hinterbein restauriert; H. 50 cm, 26 cm x 97 cm.
Der in Katzhütte geborene Maler und Bildhauer Wilhelm Neuhäuser (1885 - 1960), der an der Kunstakademie in München unter Prof. Heinrich von Zügel studierte, modellierte eine Vielzahl von auffallend naturgetreuen Tierplastiken.
