Außergewöhnliche und seltene preußische Nabelschere Bronze, vergoldet und Eisen. Scherenkorpus äußerst detailliert und fein ausgearbeitet in Form eines Soldaten aus der sog. altpreußischen Grenadiergarde oder auch Riesengarde "Lange Kerls" von König Friedrich Wilhelm I. (1688-1740) mit hoher Grenadiermütze und Uniform. Seitlich die typische Patronentasche mit scharniertem Deckel. Auf der Tasche und der Grenadiermütze das Königsmonogramm "FR". Die Scherenschenkel in Form eines langläufigen Steinschlossgewehrs. L. 12 cm.
Provenienz: Aus dem Nachlass des Berliner Schlossinspektors (Kastellan) Hermann Malo (1862-1938). Erworben zumeist 1914 bei der Hofstaatsverwaltung seiner Königlichen Hoheit des Prinzen Oskar von Preußen, als "Gegenstände aus dem Prinz Alexander Nachlass" und 1919 vom Oberhofmarschall-Amt. Seitdem durch Erbfolge in Familienbesitz.
