Lot 349 | Außergewöhnliches Barock-Kabinett als Zunftschrank der Gerber, deutsch, 18. Jahrhundert
Zweiteiliger Aufbau in Nadelholz. Teilweise geschnitzt und dreiseitig polychrom gefasst. Auf vier gedrechselten, ebonisierten Beinen mit Kreuzsteg das beschnitze und gefasste Kabinettteil. Die gerade, profilierte Zarge mit zwei Schüben. Darüber zwei Türen vor Eingericht mit zwei Fächern und insgesamt sieben weiteren Schubladen. Abschließender mehrfach geschwungener, überkragender Kranz mit zentraler Monogrammkartusche, flankiert von zwei Engeln sowie einer Datierung "M.DCC.LX". Auf den Türen zwei Darstellungen das Gerberhandwerk und dessen Attribute betreffend sowie der Sinnspruch: "Die Fleischer müssen traben, die Gerber müssen schaben, das die Schuhmacher was zu verkaufen haben". Bänder und Riegel in Eisen. Schloss und Beschläge in Messing, teils vergoldet. Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren. Fassung partiell restauriert. Stand wohl später. Maße 100 x 40 x 196 cm. Zustand: II - III

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
