Lunulaförmiges, dünnes Axtblatt. Die beiden kreisförmigen Innenränder verstärkt. An den drei Enden je eine Durchbohrung. Gut erhaltenes Exemplar dieses seltenen, häufig als akkadzeitlich bezeichneten Axttyps. Länge 19 cm.

Provenienz: Aus alter österreichischer Sammlung.

A Western Iranian axe blade, bronze, Luristan, Early Bronze Age, late 3rd millennium B.C.
Lunula-shaped, thin axe blade. The two circular inner edges reinforced. One hole at each of the three ends. Well preserved specimen of this rare axe type. Length 19 cm.
