Gilt 2/3 plate movement, 48/1 calibre, by A. Lange & Söhne of Glashütte with Breguet spiral, stoppable central seconds hand and swan-neck fine adjustment, marked "A. Lange & Söhne" and "210391". The factory serial number "210391" stamped on the outside of the back and "Bauart: Lange & Sohne - Gerät-Nr: 127-560 A.1. - Werk-Nr: 210391- Anforderungszeichen: Fl 23883 - Hersteller: A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte Sa.". Diameter 55 mm. Movement is loose, slightly fast. On a modern leather strap. According to the enclosed certificate/register extract of Glashütte dated 21 May 1941, the watch was supplied to the Reichsminister der Luftfahrt (Reich Minister for Aviation).
