Bamileke mask. CAMEROON/Grassland, 1st half 20th c., wood, carved, facial expression with open mouth, very large nostrils and wide open eyes. Beard and hair made of cord braid, two movable pendants made of wood or bone are woven into the hairstyle, with crusty patina.
