First French edition, after the first printed in Berlin in 1805, of this account of the journeys undertaken in Greece in 1803 and 1804 by Bartholdy, a Russian diplomat and the first German traveler to produce a complete report of his Greek stay after Johann Hermann von Riedesel (1771), and Georg Christian Gropius (1776-1850).
