A FINE AND RARE SILVER INLAID BALUSTER SHAPED WINE VESSEL 'HU' - China, Song/Yuan dynasty - The wine bronze ewer with brown surface imitates forms of archaic bronze vessels of the Spring and Autumn period (Chunqiu, 770-476 BC) and is decorated with black oxidised silver inlays forming three bands with geometric motifs on the neck, shoulder and the high foot and large scales on the belly. A movable ring attached to an angular appliqué serves as handle. Weight: 3,716 kg. - Max Müller (1867-1960), German consul in Hankow, collected in China between 1905 and 1912. After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
