Die nachfolgenden Gläser stammen aus dem Besitz des Prinzen Alfons von Bayern und seiner Gemahlin Louise Victoire d ‘Orléans. Prinz Alfons Maria Franz Clemens Maximilian von Bayern (1862 - 1933) war ein Enkel Ludwigs I. von Bayern. Seine Eltern waren Prinz Adalbert Wilhelm von Bayern (Bruder des Prinzregenten Luitpold) und dessen Gemahlin Infantin Amalia Philippa Pilar von Spanien. 1891 heiratete Alfons auf Schloss Nymphenburg Louise Victoire d ‘Orléans, Tochter von Sophie Charlotte, Herzogin in Bayern, die Schwester der Kaiserin Elisabeth von Österreich und ehemalige Verlobte des bayerischen Königs Ludwig II. Alfons durchlief im 1. Schweren Reiter-Regiment sämtliche Rangstufen bis zum Regimentskommandeur, 1899 wurde er Generalmajor und Kommandeur der 1. Kavallerie-Brigade, 1905 General der Kavallerie, 1909 Inhaber des 7. bayer. Chevauleger-Regiments, 1913 Chef des in Hofgeismar stationierten Dragoner-Regiments "Freiherr von Manteuffel" (Rheinisches) Nr. 5. Er liegt in der Michaelskirche zu München begraben. Sechs Champagnerschalen aus mundgeblasenem Glas, runder Fuß, schmückender Nodus, schauseitig gravierte gekrönte Chiffre "AL" (Alfons und Louise v. Orléans). Höhe 11,7 cm. Zustand: I - II
