Eisenhelm, der den Kopf mit Hinterhaupt weitestgehend umschloss und das Gesicht freilässt. Hohe Kalotte mit leicht angedeuteter Spitze am hinteren Scheitel. Hinten und seitlich der untere Rand waagrecht verlaufend, vor dem Gesicht nach oben abbiegend, der Rand des Gesichtsausschnittes tief in die Stirn gezogen. Die Ränder mit sanftem Schwung leicht nach außen gestellt. Um den Rand herum Nieten zur Befestigung einer Brünne. Minimale Ausbrüche am linken Rand ergänzt (Mehr als 98 % Originalsubstanz). Eisenkorrosion fachmännisch stabilisiert.
Höhe 19 cm, Länge 23 cm, Breite 18 cm.

An iron bascinet,14th century
Iron helmet that largely enclosed the head with occiput, leaving the face free. High calotte with slightly indicated tip at the rear crown. At the back and sides the lower rim running horizontally, bending upwards in front of the face, the edge of the face cutout drawn deep into the forehead. The edges slightly turned outwards with a gentle sweep. Around the rim rivets for attaching mail. Minimal chipping on the left edge replaced (more than 98 % original substance). Iron corrosion expertly stabilised.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
