around 1600, the castle of the margraves of Brandenburg-Bayreuth, Erlangen, Germany, on all sides-consuming with riveted straps chest decorated the Front with imitation lock hardware, cover with a hidden key hole which is released by pressure on a rivet in the lid being closed with eight movable tumblers, disguised engraved by fine, pierced lock plate, a display of three water people, each with a crown, with original key and later-designed Base made of wrought iron, surface with old green holder, lock plate to a corner with a small fault, some old repair traces, Dimensions without Base H 46 x W 84 x d 48 cm. Provenance: from the estate of Dr. jur. Alfred M. Franzke, a Professor at the University of Erlangen, acquired in 1919 by a donation of the, documents below.
