Holz, geschnitzt mit Lackvergoldung, teilweise auf einer texilen Grundierung. Der zentrale Teil bildet zusammen mit den beiden Seitenteilen einen Spitzbogen. Oben im
Zentrum unter einem Baldachin Buddha Shakyamuni flankiert von Ananda und Kasyapa. Darunter
in einem Halkreis angeordnet die Acht Dharmapala: Mahakala, Yamantaka, Kubera, Hayagriva,
Palden Lhamo, Changpa, Yama und Begtse. Sie alle sitzen auf ihrem Reittier und sind in
sechsarmiger Form mit Attributen gezeigt. Über dem Kopf jeden Schützers ehemals die kleine
Darstellung eines Buddha, heute teils fehlend. Inmitten der Dharmapala stehen zwei
bewaffnete Lokapala in Rüstung. Höhe ca. 90cm, Breite ca. 70cm. Zustand B. Kleinere Teile fehlend, repariert, Altersrisse.
Sicherlich spannte sich der Bogen einst über einer größeren Darstellung. Die erstaunliche
Qualität der Schnitzerei lässt auf eine Werkstatt schließen, die für höher stehende
Gesellschaftsschichten arbeitete. Die Gesichter sind regelrecht portraithaft ausgearbeitet
und, wie auch die gesamten Figuren, mit feinen Details versehen
