Amaranth, Sycamore und Obstholz, feine, vergoldete Bronzemontierungen. Reich eingelegt mit Rautendekor. Die rechteckige weiße Marmorplatte mit durchbrochener Galerieeinfassung über einer geheimen Friesschublade und einem Paar Türen, die einen schlichten Innenraum umschließen, auf quadratischen, spitz zulaufenden Beinen, die in akanthusgeformten Sabots enden. Auf der Unterseite zweimal gestempelt J.H. RIESENER. Marmorplatte mit leichtem Riss und leicht fleckig. Minimal restauriert, Vergoldung leicht berieben.

Dieses Salonmöbel mit seiner raffinierten Kombination aus filigranen Parketterieeinlagen und fein ziselierten Ormolu-Beschlägen ist ein hervorragendes Beispiel für Rieseners späteres Schaffen. Die architektonische Form mit dem vergoldeten Bronzedekor findet sich auf einer Reihe weiterer Stücke des Künstlers, die an die Garde-Meuble de la Couronne geliefert wurden. Ein Schreibtisch mit vergleichbaren Lozenge Einlagen und vergoldeten Beschlägen, der wahrscheinlich zu einer Möbelgarnitur gehört, die Riesener im Juli 1784 an die Privatgemächer von Marie-Antoinette in den Tuilerien lieferte, ist in der königlichen Sammlung in London zu sehen. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
