AN IMPORTANT AND EXTREMELY RARE IMPERIAL YELLOW HANGING WITH FIVE DRAGONS - China, 18th/ 19th c. - In the center a frontal dragon chasing a flaming pearl, flanked by two more dragons, each with a pearl. The clouds are spherical and connected. Scattered Shou characters, red bats and the Buddhist treasures. The pattern extends over the frame in dark blue. - Old European private collection, assembled before 1980Such hangings were used to separate areas in the imperial palace, but also to cover walls. Imperial yellow hangings are intended for the emperor and only a few people in his immediate family circle. Kaiserlich gelbe und dunkelblaue Satinseide, bestickt mit farbiger Seide in Plattstich und Goldfaden in Anlegetechnik. Im Zentrum ein frontaler Drachen um ein flammende Perle, flankiert von jeweils zwei weiteren, die nach Perlen haschen. Die Wolken kugelig und verbunden. Dazwischen Shou-Zeichen, rote Fledermäuse und die buddhistischen Schätze. Das Muster erstreckt sich über den Rahmen in Dunkelblau.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
