Das Service bestehend aus zwei großen ovalen Servierplatten (Maße 65 x 29,5 cm bzw. 63,5 x 27,5 cm), einer Terrine mit Deckel (Außendurchmesser ohne die Griffe 27 cm, Gesamthöhe 19,5 cm), zwei Saucieren (Maße 25,5 x 18,5 x 9 cm) mit den zugehörigen Porzellan-Kellen (eine mit blauer Szeptermarke, Länge je 19,8 cm), 24 Speisetellern (Durchmesser 25 cm), zwölf Suppentellern (Durchmesser 23,5 cm), zwölf Kuchentellern (Durchmesser 21 cm), elf Obsttellern (Durchmesser 17,5 cm) sowie je einem Zwölferset Kaffee-/Teetassen (Höhe 5,5 cm) mit Untertassen (Durchmesser 15,5 cm) und Mokkatassen (Höhe 5 cm) mit Untertassen (Durchmesser 11,5 cm).

Zu den bekanntesten Trägern der insgesamt 687 Verleihungen des Pour le Mérite im 1. Weltkrieg zählen klangvolle Namen wie die der Fliegerasse von Richthofen, Immelmann oder Boelcke, U-Boot-Kommandanten wie Weddigen, Viebeg oder Mohrat und Offiziere der Armee wie der spätere Gen.Oberst von Seeckt.
White, glazed porcelain in Neuosier pattern with a gold rim. The blue underglaze sceptre mark stamped into the base of each piece, the imperial orb mark and the war mark in the shape of an Iron Cross in red and black overglaze respectively. The saucers of the coffee cups and teacups also with the blue underglaze war mark. Moreover, all pieces embellished with the Pour le Mérite insignia in gold and blue, outlined in black, the eagles in the cross arms in shades of brown.
The service composed of two large oval serving plates (measuring 65 x 29.5 cm and 63.5 x 27.5 cm respectively), one lidded tureen (outside diameter without handles 27 cm, total height 19.5 cm), two saucières (measuring 25.5 x 18.5 x 9 cm) with the matching porcelain ladles (one bearing the blue sceptre mark, length of each 19.8 cm), 24 dinner plates (diameter 25 cm), twelve soup plates (diameter 23.5 cm), twelve cake plates (diameter 21 cm), eleven fruit plates (diameter 17.5 cm) and a set of twelve coffee cups and twelve teacups (height 5.5 cm) with saucers (diameter 15.5 cm) and twelve mocha cups (height 5 cm) with saucers (diameter 11.5 cm). Exquisite service in virtually untouched condition.
The most famous bearers of the Pour le Mérite, awarded a total of 687 times during World War I, include such illustrious names as the flying aces von Richthofen, Immelmann and Boelcke, U-boat commanders such as Weddigen, Viebeg and Mohrat, plus army officers such as the later Gen. Oberst von Seeckt.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
