Messer mit einfacher Rückenklinge, dreizinkige silberne Gabel. Jeweils achtkantige Zwingen mit geschnittenem Balusterdekor. Hilzen aus hellem transluzenten Horn, fein geschnitzte Knäufe aus dunklem Bernstein. Zugehöriger Köcher aus feuervergoldetem Messing mit fein graviertem und durchbrochen gearbeitetem Ranken- und Blütendekor. Die Seiten mit Auflagen aus filigran durchbrochenem Horn. Schauseitig eine vakante Wappenkartusche unter Krone. Stellenweise kleine Fehlstellen bzw. Ergänzungen. Seitlich zwei kleine Trageösen mit anhängender Kordel. Länge Messer 19 cm, Gabel 17,5 cm, Gesamtlänge im Köcher 27,5 cm.

A distinguished set of German cutlery with amber knobs, probably Koenigsberg, 2nd half of the 17th century
The knife with a simple, single-edged blade, a three-pronged silver fork. Both pieces with an octagonal ferrule and chased balusters. The handles made of light-coloured, translucent horn, finely carved knobs in dark amber. The matching sheath made of fire-gilt brass, finely engraved with openwork tendrils and floral decoration. The sides with appliqués in delicate, openwork horn. A vacant coat of arms cartouche under a crown on the front. Minor flaws and replacements in places. Two small carrying loops with cord attached at the side. Length of the knife 19 cm, the fork 17.5 cm, total length including case 27.5 cm.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
