Schlanke, spitz zulaufende Rückenklinge mit langer, zweischneidiger Spitze. Die Klinge mit einfacher flacher Kehlung, die kräftige Fehlschärfe doppelt gekehlt, Oberflächen beidseitig mit geätzter Damaststruktur. Achtkantige Hilze mit fein gearbeiteter silberner Montierung. Der hölzerne Griff mit feinen Einlagen aus Silber und Perlmutt, die reich gravierten Griffbänder und -zwingen mit plastischen Maskaronen und kleinen gefassten Korallencabochons (einer verloren) dekoriert. Gravierte silberne Knaufkappe mit vier umlaufenden Maskaronen und abgesetztem Vernietknauf. Scheide aus graviertem Messing, das Mundblech auf der Rückseite monogrammiert "M.A.L.". Länge 46 cm.

Narrow, tapering, single-edged blade with a long, double-edged point. The blade with a single shallow fuller, the strong ricasso with double fullers, the surfaces etched with a Damascus pattern on both sides. Octagonal grip with delicate silver mountings. The wooden hilt with fine inlays in silver and mother-of-pearl, the lavishly engraved grip frames and ferrules adorned with three-dimensional mascarons and small inset coral cabochons (one has been lost). Engraved silver pommel cap with a row of four mascarons and offset, riveted button. The scabbard in engraved brass, the back of the locket monogrammed "M.A.L.". Length 46 cm.
