Bedeutendes silbernes Breverl mit dem Wappen des Abtes von Stift Tepl, Tschechien, Mitte 18. Jhdt.
Silberner Amulettanhänger, teils feuervergoldet. Rechteckiger Behälter mit Stülpdeckel. Die Vorder- und Rückseite fein durchbrochen gearbeitet. Schauseitig bekrönte Barockkartsuche, darin das Wappen des Stifts (drei Geweihstangen) mit Abtsinsignien und Monogramm "HFAT" (Hieronymus Franziscus Ambros Teplensis). Auf der Gegenseite ein fein graviertes Allianzwappen mit Stechhelm. Die Seitenfelder ornamental graviert. An der Oberseite Schrauböse, die untere Verschlussschraube fehlt. Im Inneren original erhaltene Kupferstiche mit religiösen Texten und Kupferstichen, darin eingelegt kleine Medaillen und Schabsteine. Dabei handschriftliche Notizen von zwei Vorbesitzern zur Provenienz, Maße ohne Öse ca. 8 x 6 cm.
Das im 12. Jhdt. gegründete Stift Tepl, ein Prämonstratenser-Kloster, gilt heute als nationales Kulturdenkmal Tschechiens. Abt Hieronymus Ambros leitete den Stift von 1742 bis 1767. Er gab damals die heute noch erhaltene prächtige Barockausstattung der Kirche in Auftrag.
