Original 3-part mahogany box with velvet inlay, round brass test case, glazed, signed, ultra-fine Vacheron & Constantin Ankerchronometer movement, wolf's toothing No. 412063, Côtes de Genève, original silvered dial in the same size as the test case, blued steel hands, winding and time setting via removable crown, completely original condition, in working order. Unfortunately, it is not possible to find out for which observation purposes this rare chronometer was used during the Second World War. According to the Vacheron & Constantin archive, the movement was never cased and was sold as a movement without a case in 1940.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
