Bernard Schultze (1915 Schneidemühl - 2005 Köln) (F) 'Eine dunkle Szene', Öl auf Leinwand, 80 cm x 100 cm, signiert, 2000 datiert, verso signiert, datiert, betitelt, Literatur: Diederich-Herrmann, III, 00/55. 1934-39 studierte Bernard Schultze an den Akademien in Berlin und Düsseldorf. Ab 1956 entwickelte Schultze durch plastische Einklebungen und Collagen von Fotofetzen in seine informelle Malerei eine zunächst reliefplastische, dann ab 1961 sich figural-skulptural ausweitende Gestaltungsform. Eine surreale Strukturierung, geradezu floral-animalischer Formungen, erscheint. In den teils großformatigen Ölbildern und Zeichnungen der letzten Jahre setzt sich dieses Thema fort, wobei nun filigrane Farbspuren den Bildgrund in einem unentwirrbaren Dickicht bedecken. From 1956 onwards, Schultze developed a form of design that was initially relief sculptural and then, from 1961 onwards, figural-sculptural, by means of sculptural pastings and collages of scraps of photographs in his informal painting. A surreal structuring, almost floral-animalistic formations, appears. This theme is continued in his oil paintings and drawings of recent years, some of which are large-format, with filigree traces of colour now covering the picture ground in an inextricable thicket.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
