4 works of Baroque style bound in one volume. The plates illustrate the cycle of frescoes of the stories of Aeneas painted by Pietro da Cortona in the Palazzo Pamphili in Rome and the frescoes painted between 1633 and 1639 to adorn the great hall on the noble floor of Palazzo Barberini in Rome.

4 works in one volume, 4to (481 x 360mm). First work with a double-page engraved frontispiece numbered as plate I followed by 15 plates numbered 2-16 of which the last one contains the dedication to the Prince by Cesio - Second work with 23 plates, some of which double page or folding printed by de Rubeis by Bloemart, Gerardin, Visscher, Balliu and others - Third work with double-page engraved frontispiece with coat of arms and 15 plates (the final folding plate with some tears and browning) - Fourth work with dedication and 8 engraved and folding plates (in general some dampstaining and foxing, occasional tears and other defects). Contemporary calf (worn, covers detached, spine almost entirly lost). The work is sold as described and is not subject to return. Provenance: "Libro di N. 86 carte ad uso del Rev. Sig. D. Giov. Gerardi Comm. della SS. Inq. della Città di Regalbuto quale costò 8-6 nell'anno 1855" (label on title).
