Öl/Hartfaser, 36 x 49 cm, r. u. sign. und dat. B. Genzmer August 23. - Deutscher Maler von Kindern und Landschaften. Ab 1876 erhielt G. Unterricht im Atelier von A. Stryowski, anschließend studierte er an der Berliner Akademie bei K. Gussow. 1887 bis 1920 war G. Mitglied des Vereins Berliner Künstler und auch als Juror für die Große Berliner Kunstausstellung tätig. Eine anekdotische Art der Genremalerei wich ab den 1880er Jahren einer an W. Leistikow und die Worpsweder Malerschule angelehnten Landschaftsmalerei, überwiegend mit ostelbischen Motiven. Neben seinen Landschaften waren seine Kinderdarstellungen schon zu seinen Lebzeiten überaus populär und wurden vielfach in Zeitschriften reproduziert. Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
