Entwurf wohl Karl Friedrich Schinkel, Berlin um 1830. Mahagoni, furniert, und Nussbaum. C-förmige, niedrige, geschwungene Beine, tiefe Sitzfläche, Armlehnen, Rückenlehne mit seitlichen Ohren, jeweils gepolstert. Wiederkehrende konzentrische Kreisreliefs in Nussbaum, ansonsten glattes Furnier. Federkernpolsterung mit Bezugsstoff mit Rautenmuster.

Karl Friedrich Schinkel (1781 - 1841), der preußische Baumeister und Universalkünstler, gilt als Urheber des Modellentwurfs für diesen Liegesessel. Das überaus bequeme Sitzmöbel trägt ein klassisches biedermeierliches Design, das sich auch an englischen Clubsesseln der Zeit orientiert.
Provenienz: erworben 1987 bei Art Deco Möbel u. Accessoires, Hamburg; seitdem Privatbesitz Freiburg i.Br.
Rechnung: Art Deco Möbel u. Accessoires, Hamburg, 14.03.1987, Rechnungsbetrag 6500 DM (ca. 3323 €).

Zustandsbericht:
Guter, rest. Zustand. Stellenweise Furnierfehlstellen (max. 5 cm), vorwiegend an den Vorderbeinen und der linken Armlehne, Furnier partiell erg. Polsterung und Bezugsstoff in guter Erhaltung.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
