Jahrhundert, "Halbportrait einer Dame", wohl Wilhelmine Schröder-Devrient, PICTURE PAINTER 19th century, "Half portrait of a lady", probably Wilhelmine Schröder-Devrient, the young woman in a blue dress standing in front of a burgundy drapery, on the left a landscape view with a church and small lakes, unsigned, oil / canvas, HxW: approx. 90x68 cm (130x110 with frame). Craquelé and stretcher impression, partiell color abrasion / flaking off, restored with canvas double patches and retouches on the reverse. With a splendid frame (signs of age, the frame slightly rubbed). VERSO inscribed 'Emmeline von Schröder' on the stretcher in pencil by an unknown hand - the opera singer Wilhelmine Schröder-Devrient was known for her role as Emmeline in Weigl's "Die Schweizer Familie". VERSO on the frame remains of a seizure label from the district court of Berlin-Pankow.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
