Inhalt: Über 480 original Briefe der Fürstin von Bismarck an ihr Patenkind Marie Meister (1840-1912) geben Einblicke in das Privatleben der Bismarcks. Marie Meister, die von der Familie Bismarck liebevoll 'Merlchen' genannt wurde, war die Tochter des Künstlers Jakob Becker (1810-1872). Die Familie Becker zählte seit Bismarcks Frankfurter Zeit der 1850er Jahre zu den engsten Freunden der Familie. Marie Meister war mit dem Industriellen Wilhelm Meister verheiratet, dem Mitbegründer der späteren Hoechst AG. Umfang: 4 Bände, die Jahre 1859-1894 umfassend, handschriftliche Briefe, einzeln gebunden, Band 1, 1859-74, mit ca. 131 handschriftlichen Briefen, Beileidsbekundungen, unter anderem die Bekanntgabe der Vermählung des Reichsfreiherrn Maximilian Roth von Schreckenstein, Band 2, 1875-83, mit ca. 121 Briefen, unter anderem mit der Bekanntgabe der Verlobung der Tochter Marie von Bismarck mit dem Grafen Wendt zu Eulenberg (geheiratet hat sie Kuno von Rantzau), Band 3, 1884-89, mit ca. 138 handschriftlichen Briefen, Band 4, 1890-94, mit ca. 95 handschriftlichen Briefen, den letzten Brief verfasste die Fürstin Bismarck am 19.11.1894, also 8 Tage vor ihrem Tod, Zustand: gut, Briefe in Ledereinbände montiert, diese jeweils im Schuber, teilweise kl. Läs. u. etwas berieben. - Collection of more than 480 original letters from the Princess von Bismarck to her godchild Marie Meister (1840-1912). Providing insights into the Bismarck's private life. Last letter was written 8 days before her death. 4 leather volumes, in slipcase (partly small damages and somewhat rubbed).

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
