Fancy bronze bow fibula with both sides of the ten large lateral cones to the bracket. The 2.5 cm wide strap of sheet metal is divided in the middle by a counter-rotating bow in two halves. The rear part is decorated with longitudinal grooves, of the front was divided into rectangular fields. The needle at the base of the spiral is glued, the tips of the needle and foot are lost. Hairline crack at the top of the bracket. Exceptionally rare Etruscan Form of a bow brooch. Length 10.5 cm. Provenance: From a South German private collection, acquired in the 1980s, in the art trade. Condition: II -
