Partiell feuervergoldete Kupferbronze mit Kaltgold und polychromer Bemalung. Auf einem menschlichen Opfer sitzend in rajalilasana, die Füße des Opfers schauen unter seinem linken Knie hervor. In der rechten Hand hält er eine Knochenflöte, um darauf zu spielen, mit der linken eine Schädelschale. Er hat einen dichten Bart und trägt sein langes Haar offen. Sein Haupt ziert eine fünfteilige Schädelkrone. Ein langer dhoti bedeckt seine Beine und ein dünner Schal ist um Schultern und Arme gelegt.
Die Figur zeigt Mahakala als indischen Brahmanen mit offenem Haar und langem Bart.
Brahmarupa Mahakala ist eine Erscheinungsform von Chaturmukha Mahakala aus dem Guhyasamaja Tantra. Die zornvolle Gottheit Chaturmukha Mahakala ist in der tibetischen Kunst selten dargestellt, da es der Shakya-Tradition nach unangebracht erscheint, eine zornvolle Gottheit Personen zu zeigen, die nicht die Initiation erhalten haben. Daher wird diese besondere Form gewählt, in der Chaturmukha Mahakala durch einen einfachen Brahmanen verkörpert wird. Gewicht 2398g, Höhe 23,5cm. Zustand A/B.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
