A BRONZE FIGURE OF AMITAYUS - Tibeto-Chinese, 18th c. - Seated in vajrasana on a lotus base with both hands resting on his lap in dhyanamudra, wearing dhoti, its border incised with a scrolling tendril design, cape draped over his shoulders with its streamers encircling both arms and the finials falling over the base, bejewelled, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows, elongated earlobes with disc-shaped ornaments, the hairdo combed in a chignon topped with a lotus bud and secured with a five-leaf tiara, unsealed. - From an old European private collection, acquired prior to 2000 - Traces of age, minor wear

Er sitzt in Vajrasana auf einer Lotusbasis und hat beide Hände im Dhyanamudra auf den Schoß gelegt. Er trägt einen Dhoti, dessen Rand mit einem verschlungenen Rankenmuster verziert ist, einen Umhang, der über seine Schultern drapiert ist, dessen Bänder beide Arme umschließen und dessen Enden über die Basis fallen, sein Gesicht zeigt einen heiteren Ausdruck mit niedergeschlagenen Augen unter gewölbten Augenbrauen, verlängerte Ohrläppchen mit scheibenförmigen Ornamenten, die Frisur zu einem Dutt gekämmt, der mit einer Lotusknospe gekrönt und mit einem fünfblättrigen Diadem befestigt ist, unversiegelt.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
