A BRONZE FIGURE OF SAMANTABHADRA - China, late Ming/ early Qing dynasty - Seated in lalitasana on the caparisoned elephant reclining on a lotus base, both hands holding a scroll, lotuses flowering along each upper arm, wearing dhoti, cape draped around his shoulders with its streamers encircling both arms and their finials falling down to the front, bejewelled, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows, urna at his forehead, his hair combed in a chignon and secured with a tiara decorated with a pair of floating ribbons, traces of gilt-lacquer. - Former old German private collection, assembled before 2007 - Wear, few small repairs, slightly chipped

In lalitasana auf dem auf einem Lotossockel ruhenden Elefanten sitzend, in beiden Händen eine Schriftrolle haltend, an den Oberarmen blühende Lotosblumen, Dhoti tragend, um die Schultern drapierter Umhang, dessen Bänder beide Arme umschlingen und deren Zipfel nach vorne fallen, sein Gesicht zeigt einen heiteren Ausdruck mit niedergeschlagenen Augen unter gewölbten Augenbrauen, Urna auf der Stirn, sein Haar ist zu einem Dutt gekämmt und mit einem Diadem mit zwei schwebenden Bändern befestigt, Spuren von Goldlack.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
