Deutscher Bildhauer. Nach einer Lehre zum Bildhauer und Steinmetz wechselte Binding an die Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, wo er von 1959 bis 1963 unter anderem als Meisterschüler von Zoltan Székessy studierte. Bereits im Jahr 1962 wurde Wolfgang Binding mit dem Ernst Poensgen-Preis der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf und 1963 mit dem Förderpreis für Bildhauerei der Stadt Köln ausgezeichnet. Nach Auslandsaufenthalten in Alexandria und Kairo erhielt Binding 1973 seine Habilitation an der RWTH Aachen 1975-76 war er Gastprofessor an die Northern Michigan University in den USA,, ab 1977 dann Professor für Bildhauerei an der RWTH Aachen. 1993 ließ sich Binding schließlich als freischaffender Künstler in Eynatten an der deutsch-belgischen Grenze nieder. - Binding gilt als wichtigster Tierbildhauer der Nachkriegszeit und schuf auch für den öffentlichen Raum zahleiche Plastiken, Brunnen und Denkmäler für mehrere Städte in Deutschland und in der Schweiz, z.B. die Großplastik ' Spielende Pferde', CHIO Reitstadion Aachen, 2006, und 'Große Ziege', Salomon R. GuGelbgoldenheim Museum, New York.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
