Bronze, braun patiniert. Vollplastische, detaillierte Darstellung zweier kämpfender Adler, wie auch auf dem Ehrenbecher abgebildet. Zweiteilige Bronze (oberer Adler leicht drehbar), montiert auf einem schwarz lackierten achteckigen Holzsockel (etwas berieben), auf der Vorderseite die von Lorbeer umkränzte silberne Widmungsplakette mit Gravur "Dem Sieger im Luftkampf 16. Juni 1917 Flugmeister Nöthen". Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Gesamthöhe 26 cm.
Nöthen war Träger des Marine-Beobachterabzeichens und erhielt den Ehrenpreis mit Tagesbefehl des Marine-Flugchefs Nr. 221 vom 21. November 1918 für die Vernichtung eines feindlichen Flugzeuges.
Eines der ganz wenigen Originale, außergewöhnlich selten.

Bronze with brown patina. Three-dimensional, detailed sculpture of two fighting eagles, as depicted on the goblet of honour. Two-piece bronze (the upper eagle slightly rotatable), mounted on an octagonal wooden base lacquered in black (somewhat rubbed), on the obverse the silver dedication plaque surrounded by laurel branches and engraved (tr.) "To the victor in aerial combat 16th June 1917 master pilot Nöthen". Traces of use and age. Overall height 26 cm.
Nöthen was winner of the Navy Observer Badge and was awarded the prize of honour for the destruction of an enemy aircraft during the order of the day No. 221 issued by the navy chief of staff on 21st November 1918.
One of the very few originals, particularly rare.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
