Two tall Byzantine oil lamps, 5th - 9th century
Two rare tall oil lamps made of light clay. The smaller one with two flame openings, the larger one with three. Each with a columnar shaft on a broad round foot. The smaller one glued to the shaft. Otherwise intact. Without additions. Height 11 cm and 26 cm.

Provenance: From a Rhenish private collection.

Zwei hohe Öllampen, byzantinisch, 5. - 9. Jhdt.
Zwei seltene hohe Öllampen aus hellem Ton. Die kleinere mit zwei Brennöffnungen, die größere mit drei. Jeweils mit säulenförmigem Schaft auf breitem runden Fuß. Die kleinere am Schaft geklebt. Sonst intakt. Ohne Ergänzungen. Höhe 11 cm und 26 cm.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
