1900. Bronze with olive Patina, h. 36 cm, frontal referred to 'NENIKHAMEN' (=We won), H. 36 cm, lateral. Max Kruse fec signed'.' and foundry stamp 'act.Ges.Gladen Beck Berlin', num. '01455'. - The Statue Of the 'victory, a messenger brought Kruse 1881 on the Akademieausst. the Prix de Rome. - German sculptor, married to the doll maker Käthe Kruse. After studying architecture in Stuttgart exchange to the University of fine arts Berlin, where he studied sculpture under Albert Wolff and Fritz Schaper. 1907 Kruse received the kgl. Professor and the Berlin Secession, joined later.
