Édition collective des deux parties du Quichotte, la première à supprimer la dédicace au duc de Bejar, la remplaçant par un hommage à Don Antonio de Vargas.

2 parties en 1 volume in-8 (193 x 136 mm), chacune avec sa page de titre (les deux feuillets de titre et le dernier feuillet du volume sont doublés ; exemplaire lavé, certains cahiers brunis ou piqués, 4 feuillets restaurés, court de marges).

Reliure signée Caeiro : maroquin aubergine richement doré et mosaïqué de chardons de maroquin orangé et de têtes de taureaux stylisées rouges, dos à nerfs, caissons ornés, gardes de papier marbré, tranches ciselées et peintes, étui (dos légèrement passé).

Provenance : Manuel de Foronda y Gómez (1907-1969 ; ex-libris).



Collective edition of both parts, replacing the dedication to the Duke of Bejar by one to Don Antonio de Vargas.
