CHO HANAGAKE, A SIX-PANEL "MAPLE AND PHEASANTS" SCREEN Japan, 20th century Color and gold dust on paper. 174.5x59.5 cm (per panel). The screen is painted with a maple tree, a male pheasant standing on branch, and a female pheasant under the tree leading a group of chicks. The screen is signed and with seal in the lower left corner. With traces of use, partially damaged.
