Um 1920. Bronze, vergoldet und Elfenbein, geschnitzt. Auf dem l. Bein stehende Tänzerin in antikisierendem Gewand. Gestufter Sockel aus grün gesprenkeltem Marmor, frontal signiert 'L. ALLIOT' (geritzt und vergoldet). Repariert. H. 20,5 cm (Figur), H. 12 cm (Sockel). - Französischer Bildhauer, stammte aus einer Künstlerfamilie und erhielt seine Ausbildung an der Akademie des Beaux Arts in Paris als Schüler unter anderem von Louis Moureau, E. Barrias und M. Coutan. Stil und Inhalt seiner Arbeiten sind vielseitig und reichen von klassischen Genreszenen und religiösen Themen bis zu Motiven des Jugendstils und Art déco. Von 1896 bis 1951 stellte er regelmäßig im Salon des Artistes Français aus. Literatur: Saur, AKL, Band 2, S. 539.
