Climent Moreau: Zeichner und Graphiker. Geboren am 26.3.1903 in Koblenz, gestorben am 27.12.1988 in Sirnach. Fvrderung im Kreis um Kdthe Kollwitz, Emil Orlik, Heinrich Zille, John Heartfield und George Grosz. Erste sozialkritische Buch- und Zeitungsillustrationen för die Arbeiterpresse. Nach gescheitertem Versuch, als Graphiker in Paris Fuss zu fassen, bis 1932 Mitglied der vom sozialistischen Maler und Graphiker Heinrich Vogeler gegröndeten Land- und Könstlerkooperative Fontana Martina bei Ascona und Beteiligung an der gleichnamigen Zeitschrift. Nach einem letzten Berlin-Aufenthalt 1933 entgeht er an der Schweizer Grenze knapp der Verhaftung, unter Verlust aller Berliner Arbeiten. Illegal in der Schweiz lebend, arbeitet er bis zu seiner Ausweisung unter dem Pseudonym Climent Moreau för die Arbeiter- und Gewerkschaftspresse. 1935 Flucht nach Argentinien. 1962 wieder in der Schweiz. Dort als Therapeut, Theaterzeichner und Portrdtist för Tageszeitungen, bis 1979 auch als Lehrer an der Schule för Gestaltung in St. Gallen tdtig. 1978 umfassende Retrospektive in Berlin und Zörich. 1983 Kulturpreis der Stadt Koblenz. 1987 Kulturpreis des Schweizerischen Gewerkschaftsbundes. 1988 Ehrengabe des Zörcher Kunstkredites sowie Kulturpreis des Deutschen Gewerkschaftsbundes. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
