Markov écrit : "No survey of the impact of futurism on Russian society is complete without taking into consideration futurist forgeries and hoaxes... The best know of these literary frauds was Neofuturizm, published in 1913 in Kazan. It is a big book of about 100 pages, and nearly a quarter of it is occupied by a manifesto 'Nemnogim, kotorye poimut nas' (To the few who will understand us), signed by A. Gribatnikov. In the manifesto the neofuturists divorce themselves from the rest of the avant-garde ("they are seeking - we have found"), but they do not reject it : Burliuk is accepted ; Khlebnikov is called a genius" (Russian Futurism, p. 221).
